 Merit Scholarships Scheme for the Minority students of Colleges and University Auqaf, Hajj, Religious & Minority Affairs Department offer merit scholarship talent and brilliant students of the minority community who are pursuing their studies at Inter u Graduate and Post Graduate Level Applications on the prescribed form are invited from minority students for endowment of "Merit Scholarships".

Silent Features of the Merit Scholarships Scheme: 2017-18

1 Courses of studies and prescribed subjects: (Regular or Ex-Student who have passed last exam during the calendar year 2017).

a) Intermediate Level Courses 

Intermediate in Science, Arts, Economics, Diploma of Associate Engineering Course Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent from a reputed and reconstitution

b) Graduate Level Courses 

Graduate Course in Science, Arts, Economics, Law, Business, Computer Science/Information Technology, and Technical Education or equivalent from a rep and recognized institution

c) Post Graduate Level Courses

Post Graduate Course in Science, Arts, Economics, Law, Business, Public Administer Computer Science/Information Technology, and Technical Education or equivalent fro reputed and recognized institution

d) Professional Level Courses

Graduate or Post Graduate Course in Medicine, Dentistry and Engineering or PhD discipline from HEC recognized institution.

2 Quota and Amount for Scholarships:

Intermediate   120 Seats Amount 15,000

Graduate         120    //        // 20,000

Post Graduate  40     //          // 25,000

Medicine, Engineering and PhD 20 Seats  40,000

3 Eligibility:

a) The Candidate must have passed his/her last exam from a recognized public or p (Registered) college/institute/university etc.

b) The candidate must belong to one of the minority communities and must be do holder of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

c) The scholarships will be awarded strictly on merit basis to the students; however 1 quota in each category will be reserved for female students.

d) The students must have obtained at least 60% marks in annual examination calendar year 2017 or 2.50 CGPA up to last semester, shall be considered as min‘ criteria.

e) The applicant shall not have availed scholarship from any other institutional Government during the calendar year 2017.

f) In case, of the receipt of higher numbers of applications than the available 11 scholarships, in any particular category, selection will be made on the basis of higher gr marks and percentage.

Application Procedure:

Interested students, who meet the above mentioned criteria may apply on the pres Application Form, attach attested documents i.e. CNIC/ Form- B, Domicile certificate, D the latest exam passed during the calendar year 2017, certificate from the present institute letter head pad) for declaration of non-availing any kind of scholarship during the year 2017 any source and send to the Monitoring Officer Auqaf, Hajj, Religious and Minority Department SDU building, Khyber Road Peshawar, latest by 31.12.2017. Application Form be obtained either from Auqaf web site www.ahrma.kp.gov.pk or from the Development 1 of the above Department during office hours.

Note: Incomplete form, in any aspect, will be rejected. Application forms received after due dfiall not be entertained
