Senior Internal Control Inspector – Organic Cotton Project

Duration : September 1, 2017 to onward
Employment Contract : Long-term / Annual Renewable
Work Week : 5 Days (Monday to Friday) – 40 hrs / week
Work Hours : 0830 hrs to 1715 hrs
Major Duties and Responsibilities
• Work in close coordination with Internal Control Manager & project implementation team to carry out assignments in accordance with agreed-on procedures and standards of organic cotton project.
• To supervise and regulate collection, compilation and tabulation of field data in the standard formats as advised/suggested by SAFP management /donors
• Developing active liaison with other partner organizations /institutions/ departments.
• Facilitate in development and dissemination of technical information materials (brochures, manuals, video film, documentary, and other communication activities and events.
• Develop technical progress reports as per donors’ requirements.
• Plan & facilitate technical support system as per requirement of the project (Capacity BuildingWorkshops, Seminars etc).
• Undertake measures to ensure quality execution of project activities as per project LFA & work plan
• Make available the records and information and present to the donors, auditors and partners in respect of the services performed by WWF-Pakistan.
• Identify strengths and weaknesses in project activities and devise strategy/plan for improvement.
• Ensure regular publication of articles and scientific papers in print media and in scientific journals.
• Develop innovative ideas and assist respective reporting Internal Control Manager.
• Facilitate in internal and external audit / inspection / quality assurance visits
• Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Selection Criteria
Education, Experience & Working Knowledge
An established personal commitment to the conservation of nature and ecological processes
Master’s degree in Agriculture in any discipline
At least 3 years relevant experience in a similar capacity

Internal Control Inspector – Organic Cotton Project

Positions / Location : Baluchistan (Rakni/Barkhan)
Employment Status : Short – term (One year contract)
Work Week : 06 Days/week (Monday to Saturday)
Work Hours : 40 hours per week
Major Duties and Responsibilities
To plan, organize and implement Training of Facilitator (ToF) and regulate FFS activities.
Supervise FFS establishment and implementation of Standard Organic Practices at Experimental/ demoplot under practicing FFS.
To ensure quality implementation of Practicing FFS activities through provision of technical support.
Identify strengths and weaknesses in FFS activities and devise strategy for improvement.
To compile and tabulate all training and field data of FFS activities and demo plots in a presentable form.
Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly progress reports as per requirements of the higher authority and donors.
Facilitate in organizing communication/awareness events and ensure self participation.
Make available all the records and information, regarding his activities and outcomes, in a presentable format.
Facilitate in internal and external audit / inspection / quality assurance visits
Verify the data coming from field and participate in FFS sessions
Any other duty assigned by the supervisor
Selection Criteria
Education, Experience & Working Knowledge
An established personal commitment to the conservation of nature and ecological processes
BSc (Hon) Agriculture in any relevant discipline with at least 2 years experience in a similar capacity
MSc (Hon) Agriculture with relevant experience will be preferred.
